well. with this one i might have to disagree a little in several things. like the look because now days....times have changed and you would be surprised to find some guy who works at a bank who gets to his car wearing a nice suit listening to iron maiden or judas priest. Heaby metal is so broad you cant even describe it as how to be metal anymore, because each sub genre has its own way of thinking and dressing such as the usual preference of black metal to corpsepaint and spikes. or thrash metal to denim vests (which i have one) or to 80s heavy metal....stonewashed ripped jeans a leather jacket and a band shirt. its not about the looks anymore, cuz u can always find a poser who thinks and looks "more metal than you". no matter what theres always someone trying to stop the family and turn it into a contest. thats the beauty of heavy metal it has the biggest brotherhood you will ever find in music. with so many genres expanding from power metal (sonata arctica), black metal (mayhem), new wave of british heavy metal (iron maiden), death metal (cannibal corpse), thrash metal (kreator) or progressive metal (dream theater). no matter what, all of this bands are different from each other but they have one thing in common: the rage and power that heavy metal gives you. we are all outcasts in the end, outsiders. the only big difference is that when you see a metalhead, you dont see just another guy, you see a brother. id get a lot more into it but im sure i could write a book about it :)
